Services for George Parker Ridgeway, 70 of 145 Clinton St., will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Henderson, VanAtta and Johnston Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Fox officiating. Burial will be in Barnes Cemetery.

Mr. Ridgeway died Sunday afternoon at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 4, 1915 in Belmont County, Ohip, to the late George Orion and Louise Delores (Luke) Ridgeway.

He was retired from Owens-Corning Fiberglas Corp. after serving 36 years; and is a member of Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 55; American Legion of 366 of Flushing, Ohio; Owens- Corning Fiberglas 25-Year Club; and Lights of Pythias 13. He was a World War II Army veteran, having served in the European Theater.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Pauline Farmer; one son, George F. Ridgeway of Newark; one daughter, Mrs. John E. (Delores Jean) Gibson of Louisville; four grandchildren; and three sisters; Margaret Rinkes of Lancaster, Mrs. Harold (Marie) Hentz of St. Clairsville, Ohio, and ?. Oris (Virginia) O'Neil of Rittman, One brother and one sister are deceased.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to ?. Tuesday at the funeral home.
